Dueling Mandates in Yellowstone

In the summer of 1988 there was a major drought. To long without precipitation can cause wildfires. The fire burned many acres.Which changed how the park looked. It also spread outside of the park which treated homes nearby.Even though the fire was bad it allowed new types of grasses, flowers and trees to grow. But Yellowstone’s ecosystem needs fires to stay healthy and grow those new plants.I think the best solution to stopping the wildfires from becoming like the on in 1988,is to suppress all the fires so that never happens again. This solution will save more homes and trees and peoples lives. If they suppress the fires there will be enough space and food for the animals. But if the fires are suppressed there will not be enough space for other plants grasses and trees to grow.If the fires are suppressed the animals that only live in Yellowstone will be safe and their species will avoid extension. If the fires don’t start the ecosystem will become different and may not support special species and they could become extinct.Even thought the cons can be bad but the pros are even better and can possible save the lives of people and the lives of animals. It can even save homes. So that is why I think that suppressing the wildfires in Yellowstone is the best solution for Yellowstone.
