What I did on MLK Day.

I cooked my family steak and baked potatoes for dinner. The first thing I did was wash and scrub the potatoes until they were clean. Then I put the potatoes on a baking tray, and put olive oil and sea salt on the potatoes. After than I put the potatoes in the oven for 1 hour. Then I took the steak out of the freezer and let it unfreeze. After 30 minutes I seasoned the steak and cut off as much fat as possible. Then I put the steaks on the skillet and turn the heat up to mid-high heat.By the time the steak is in the skillets the baked potatoes are done and ready to come out of the oven. While the steaks are cooking I made a salad for my family. Then I flipped the steaks and let then cook for 30 more minutes. After that I made sweet tea. Then I took the steaks out of the skillets and put it on plates. Then we all ate the food and had a good night.

The Famous Ride

Minutemen are troops ready for war at moments command.

It was the night of  April 18th,1775 that three riders had a plan.

Dark covered the sky for Revere,Dawes, and Prescott as they started their ride.

Now the mission was clear while the colonists were shivering in fear.

Indeed the British were near go warn them, OH DEAR!

Get a friend to set a signal in Boston at the Old North Church.

Hang one lantern for soldiers by foot ang hang two for soldiers by sea.

THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!The redcoats are near.Let’s go Revere.

Row the Charles River, then get on a horse.

In the dark of night while traveling to Lexington and Concord.

Dawes was the one who made it,while the other two in jail.

Every man was now ready for the ever historical REVOLUTIONARY WAR!!!           commons.wikimedia.org
